Happy at Harrods!

Well, we are finally doing an official launch of our album Ghosts of Wasted Chances and we’re doing it at Harrods! Now, that’s what I call a quality gig! If you’re free next Tuesday, 15th November at 2.00pm, you can come to see and hear us play 10 or so songs from the album in the HMV Sound and Vision Department on the Third Floor. We’ll be smack bang in the middle of the department on a little raised stage so there’ll be no excuses about not being able to find us! We’ve had great support from Chris Sweet in Marketing and Katie, Assistant Manager at HMV .So big thanks to them. We’re really looking to making a day of it, leaving Walkford on a hire bus at about 9.00 in the morning. A few of the ‘gang’ are coming with us – I think it’s the allure of Christmas Shopping in just about the most famous store in the world. Alan and I went there for a meeting yesterday to sort out various details and had a sneaky detour via the food hall. I tell you what, I’ll never be a stick insect – if we’d had the time, I could have eaten my way from one end to the other and come back for more! Hope you can make it!

On another note, a new arts magazine has hit the area: The Wessex Muse Magazine. A really high quality publication with the most luscious artwork and interesting, really readable articles. The 4th issue has just come out and there’s a feature on State of Undress. Grab a copy if you can. www.musera.co.uk

See you all soon

Charlie
